After a year of creating soothing and natural skincare, we saw that many of our mom customers had children with eczema issues or they were suffering themself.

Although, we are trying to educate our clients on the spot, there is not always enough time to go into details when discussing this subject.

So, today we would like to give you a few tips on what causes eczema and what you can do from the comfort of your home to prevent, or soothe it.

First up, What triggers eczema?

Food:

  • citrus fruits

  • dairy

  • eggs

  • gluten or wheat

  • soy

  • spices, such as vanilla, cloves, and cinnamon

  • tomatoes

  • some types of nuts

How to treat eczema naturally?

  1. Try eliminating food that causes eczema (dairy is one of the biggest contributors)

  2. Switch out any harsh chemicals in your home like; cleaning supplies, skincare, and candles filled with fragrance

  3. Get an air filtration system for an in-home treatment. This will eliminate airborne pollutants such as odor, smoke, mold spores, dust mites, and pet dander.

  4. Practice to relax and take breaks throughout the day, this will reduce stress and keep you healthy.

  5. Apply our Natural Eczema balm to sooth the irritated area(s).

Emotions:

  • Anxiety and stress are common triggers that cause eczema to flare up, which then creates more anxiety and stress, which then leads to more eczema flare-ups.

Environmental:

  • seasonal pollen, dust mites, pet dander from cats and dogs, mold and dandruff.

  • The symptoms of atopic eczema often have certain triggers, such as soaps, detergents, stress and the weather.

  • Coconut oil. Studies show that applying coconut oil topically reduces the amount of staph bacteria on the skin, which reduces the chance of infection.

  • Shea butter. Contains anti-inflammatory properties which help to keep skin from becoming easily irritated.

  • Grape seed oil. Grapeseed oil's beauty benefits may be due to its vitamin E and omega-6 fatty acid content. Free radicals and environmental factors such as sun, wind, and pollution can do a number on your skin.
